The Scribe

Historians use many sources for their research. These include complete or partial ancient texts and documents that have come down to us.
They are valuable documents that allow us to understand and know the daily life, social, trade etc, about peoples of the past .
In ancient Egypt, the scribe was an important personality, and belonged to a very powerful  ,  admired and well-paid  caste that was in charge of the administration of the country. In the Old Kingdom they were chosen from noble families, while in the New Kingdom was extended to all this profession.
